HerbaTherapy Clary sage essential oil (Salvia sclarea) – 10 ml

Clary sage oil is yellow or pale yellow in color, with a characteristically spicy, wine-like scent. It forms an excellent fragrance harmony with lavender, ylang ylang and geranium essential oils.

Properties: strongly antispasmodic, balances estrogen production, antioxidant, antidepressant, powerful skin regenerator, reduces sweating.

Therapeutic suggestions: to relieve PMS symptoms; for scanty menstrual bleeding or missed periods; for depression and anxiety symptoms; for tension headaches and migraine; during childbirth, to ease anxiety and physical and emotional tension.

HerbaTherapy recipes – To relieve anxiety: 5 drops lavender + 4 drops clary sage + 4 drops lemon in a diffuser. To relieve pain and bloating during menstruation: 3 drops grapefruit + 3 drops clary sage + 2 drops true lavender in 2 spoons of apricot kernel oil, massaged into the affected area.

Safety instructions and contraindications: do NOT use during pregnancy! Due to its estrogen-like effect, do not use it in the first days of menstruation! Do not use with alcohol! Keep out of the reach of children! Do a skin test before use: apply one drop of the essential oil to the crook of your elbow or the inside of your wrist; if no allergic reaction appears within 24 hours, it can be used safely.
